About Camilla Simpson
Qualifications
MSc Addiction Psychology and Counselling, MBACP
Camilla Simpson is an Integrative Psychotherapist at Schoen Clinic Chelsea, offering a compassionate, person-centred approach tailored to each individual's needs.
With an MSc in Addiction Psychology and Counselling from London Southbank University and extensive training in multiple psychotherapeutic approaches, Camilla integrates various techniques to provide a holistic and personalised therapeutic experience. She is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Camilla believes in collaborative therapy, where she helps her clients explore their emotions, behaviours, and thought patterns in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. She takes an adaptive approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique experiences and preferences.
Her therapeutic style draws from cognitive, psychodynamic, and humanistic principles, incorporating methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology and Humanistic Therapy. Camilla also considers the role of spirituality, identity, and emotional intelligence in fostering long-term well-being and personal growth.
A key aspect of Camilla’s approach is helping clients build resilience and self-awareness, empowering them to make meaningful changes in their lives. She believes therapy should go beyond symptom management and focus on deep-rooted healing, self-discovery and sustainable coping strategies. Whether working with individuals or groups, Camilla strives to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy and collaboration.
She has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, addiction treatment centres and psychiatric hospitals, supporting clients with a wide range of psychological challenges.
