Annika Ancverina is available for appointments at Schoen Clinic Chelsea on Thursdays.
Annika Ancverina is an Integrative Child and Adolescent Counsellor at Schoen Clinic Chelsea. She uses mindfulness, creative arts, and diverse therapeutic techniques to help young clients journey towards self-discovery and healing. Known for her empathetic approach, Annika provides a safe, nonjudgmental space where young people can openly express themselves and gain personal insight.
Annika tailors her practice with training rooted in humanistic, psychodynamic, and holistic frameworks - including Attachment-Based Therapy, PACE, CBT, and somatic approaches - to meet each client’s unique needs.
She draws from her background as both an artist and an arts therapist, believing strongly in the transformative power of creativity. In her work with groups, Annika incorporates mindfulness, breathwork, and meditation, which she finds effective for helping individuals ground and connect with themselves.
Annika has experience supporting young people across public and private settings in London, addressing challenges like depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, and eating disorders. She previously worked with Dream Arts Westminster Charity, aiding individuals aged 7-25 with a wide range of mental health and relational issues. Annika adheres to the BACP’s ethical framework and participates regularly in individual and peer supervision.
With a Fine Art degree from Central Saint Martins and a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Child and Adolescent Counselling from IATE, Annika brings a well-rounded, creative perspective to her practice.
Outside of work, Annika enjoys travelling, spending time with friends, and playing with her dog, Hudson.
Annika warmly welcomes privately insured and self-funding patients to her practice at the Schoen Clinic Chelsea.
