Welcome to Schoen Clinic Chelsea, a premier destination in London for highly specialised group therapy. Our clinic offers a diverse range of groups and workshops, designed to support individuals experiencing challenges or concerns, helping to gain a deeper understanding of self and those around us. â€‹

We offer specialised group therapy sessions every day of the week, designed to complement individual therapy or as standalone support. Groups are facilitated by our experienced therapists and provide a collaborative space for healing and growth.

The objectives and outcomes of each group differ, so if you require any assistance in identifying the most suitable group or groups for your needs, our dedicated team is available to provide support.

Monday

  • Recovery and Relapse Prevention​ This group provides practical tools and strategies to help maintain recovery and prevent relapse. Focused on understanding triggers and building resilience, it’s a supportive space for fostering sustainable progress.

  • Schema Therapy Discover and transform deeply ingrained patterns of thinking and behaviour in this focused session. Schema Therapy helps address unhelpful beliefs and supports lasting change.

​

  • Yoga A calming yoga session focused on relaxation and grounding techniques. Perfect for unwinding and connecting with your body after a long day.

 

Tuesday

  • Mindfulness Learn the art of being present and cultivating a sense of calm through mindfulness techniques. These sessions help reduce stress, improve focus, and promote overall mental clarity.

  • Embodied Psychotherapy A unique group exploring how emotions manifest physically. Through guided movement and body awareness exercises, you will develop deeper emotional regulation and self-awareness.

  • Compassion-Based Therapy Build self-compassion and learn how to approach yourself with kindness. This group fosters emotional resilience and a greater sense of self-worth.

 

  • Soundbath Immerse yourself in the soothing vibrations of sound therapy. This deeply relaxing session uses instruments like singing bowls to promote mental and emotional harmony.

  • Breathwork & Yoga A restorative session combining breathing exercises and gentle yoga to enhance relaxation, reduce anxiety, and connect the mind and body. Suitable for all levels.

  • Assertiveness & Self-Esteem Develop the confidence to express your needs and boundaries effectively. This group helps enhance self-esteem and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Art Psychotherapy Explore your emotions and creativity through art-making in a safe, therapeutic setting. No artistic experience is necessary—just a willingness to express yourself.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) ACT combines mindfulness and behavioural strategies to help you accept life’s challenges while committing to meaningful actions aligned with your values.

Friday

 

  • Dietetic Wellbeing Facilitated by our dietitian, this virtual group focuses on the impact of nutrition on mental health. Topics include balanced eating, managing cravings, and creating a positive relationship with food.

  • Yoga Psychotherapy (8-week closed group) A specialised therapy blending traditional yoga practices with psychotherapeutic techniques. This closed group fosters deeper self-exploration and emotional balance over eight weeks.​​

How much does a single group session cost?

We offer clear, transparent pricing at Schoen Clinic Chelsea and all our groups or skills workshops are led by our experienced multidisciplinary team:

Our groups are available for self-funding patients, although sometimes health insurers do fund these as part of treatment. Please check with your health insurer if you have part/full coverage.
