Mr Bacarese-Hamilton has been appointed as Head of Department for International and Leg Lengthening at Schoen Clinic Orthopaedic and Spinal Hospital London. He was appointed a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in London 25 years ago and brings with him a wealth of experience.
Mr Bacarese-Hamilton has been one of the principle instigators of the ‘evolution hip’, with Joint Replacement International and is interested in rapid recovery of the total hip and total knee replacement.
Mr Bacarese-Hamilton has vast experience in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee and the management of fractures.
The development of improved techniques for leg lengthening using the Precise Nail has led Mr Bacarese-Hamilton to team up with Dr Dror Paley in West Palm Beach. Mr Bacarese-Hamilton was the first surgeon to use the Stryde Nail for bilateral femoral lengthening in the UK. He now brings TaLLer and this facility to Schoen Clinic London.
