PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Assisting the Practice Manager in providing administrative support for the Schoen Clinic London


DETAILED DUTIES

  • Scanning of relevant documentation onto the system
  • Requesting imaging through IEP
  • Chasing up test results and imaging reports
  • Administration of Consultants’ diaries in consultation with other staff in the group
  • Taking telephone calls, answering patient queries and taking messages
  • Booking /amending patient clinic appointments with both the Consultant and Nurse Consultant
  • Ensuring Clinic Prep is complete
  • General housekeeping and filing
  • Taking payment from self-pay patients prior to their appointments and procedures,
  • Ensure Amplitude compliance,
  •  Provision of cross cover for other areas (annual leave and adhoc absences)
  • At times typing of clinic and theatre related documents from Consultants’ dictations, including medical reports.

  • Experience as an administrator or secretary working in a team oriented office environment

  •  Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and other systems
  • Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritise and schedule work independently
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and analytical
  • Flexible in terms of working times and responsibilities e.g., out of hours work may be required with due notice.
  • Maintains a professional conduct at all times, remaining calm and in control
  • Due to the commitment to continuous improvement, it is likely that the post will evolve over time. These duties will be subject to regular review and any amendments will be made in consultation and agreement with the post holder.
