Schoen Clinic Chelsea are looking for a Dietitian to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the provision of a specialist dietetic service to day and outpatients.

Description

Schoen Clinic Chelsea have an opportunity for an experienced Dietitian to join their team on a 30 hours a week basis 

Principle Duties

  • To provide a specialist dietetic service to outpatients at Schoen Clinic Chelsea
  • Act as a source of expertise on the dietary management of eating disorders to the multi-disciplinary team, community health professionals and others involved in the care of our patients
  • Provide specialist advice to patients with eating disorders, promoting healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for all patient groups  
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of individual patient’s diets and lifestyle to formulate individualised management and treatment plans ensuring optimal outcomes whilst minimising risk.  Assessment will include interpretation of anthropometric, biochemical and clinical indicators, weight history and dietary analysis. 

Due to the commitment to continuous improvement, it is likely that the post will evolve over time. These duties will be subject to regular review and any amendments will be made in consultation and agreement with the post holder.

Skills

  • BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or BSc in relevant science plus post-graduate diploma in dietetics
  • ​Registered Dietitian with Health Professions Council
  • ​Knowledge of current best practice in eating disorders.
  • ​Knowledge of Safeguarding responsibilities and relevant legislation.
  • ​Evidence of CPD.
  • ​Ability to reflect and critically appraise own performance.
